Northern Virginia Bead Society-founded in 1992 with
over 200 members. The purpose of the Society is to
encourage the appreciation and creation of visual
arts through beads and beadry, through education
and fostering a network for the exchange of ideas.
I am currently President of the Society.

Bead Bungalow- a great bead and gift shop in
Annapolis, MD surrounded by great little shops. Well
worth the road trip, a wonderful deli down the street
to make a day of it.

Accents Beads- in Rockville, MD. It is like the Sears
of bead stores in the area. If they don't have it, they
will get it. Great classroom.

Cedar Lakes- Nestled in the Appalachian foothills of
the Ohio River Valley, Cedar Lakes Conference
Center began with a vision for the education of
young people. What started as an FFA/FHA Camp
with four cabins and four auxiliary buildings has
grown into a Conference Center composed of a large
variety of guest lodging styles with indoor meeting
spaces. Cedar Lakes Conference Center provides
year-round facilities in a natural setting that
enhances any type of program - educational,
