Take a Class with Kim S. Joy locally in the Virginia area
I have been teaching stained glass classes since 1982 at Holloman AFB, NM. I have also
taught at Hickam AFB, HI, Ft. Belvoir, VA, Arlington Adult Ed., Fairfax County Adult Ed, and
now the Workhouse Arts Center at Lorton. I started teaching jewelry classes when we were
in Hawaii in 2003 and am still adding new classes to the schedule.
Class Descriptions
Kawamura Arts & Crafts Center
The Beginning Stained Glass Class is a 12 x 16 flat panel done in copper foil and zinc.
The Intermediate Stained Glass Class is a flat paneled stained glass lamp done in copper
foil and brass.
The Advanced Stained Glass Class is a choice of stained glass mirror with overlay, a clock
or a fireplace screen.
Jewelry Classes are offered on a rotating basis and new classes are added to the selection
each quarter. Samples can be seen at Kawamura Arts & Crafts Center, Ft. Belvoir, VA.
